The Institute of Applied Physics at the University of Münster is seeking to fill the position of a
at the earliest possible date. We are offering a fixed-term part-time position (65% FTE) for 3 years. Full-time employees are required to teach 4 hours per week during the semester.
The scope of duties includes experimental and accompanying theoretical/numerical research on the chip integration of passive and laser-active waveguides for ultrafast pulse generation and frequency conversion with, for example, applications ranging from nonlinear microscopy and over precision metrology to quantum communication. The required patterning work is to be achieved by means of additive or modifying femtosecond material processing in addition to lithographic processes in collaboration with the Nanofabrication Centre at the University of Münster. The position is tied to working towards a doctorate.
