The Institute of Missiology and Theologies beyond Europe in the Catholic-Theological Faculty at the University of Münster, Germany, is seeking to fill the position of a
Research Assistant
for 10 hours per week for a period of 12 months.
Your tasks:
- Coordination of preparatory measures (international workshops) for the development of a transnational Research Master "Intercultural Theology and Interreligious Studies"
- Creation of a draft for an "Erasmus Mundus Design Measures" (EMDM) application based on preparatory workshops
- Literature and source texts searches for a bibliographical database on emerging new themes in Intercultural Theology and Interreligious Studies and their presentation in literature reviews
Our expectations:
- Completed postgraduate studies, with a Master’s degree in either Theology, Religious Studies, Islamic Studies, in another relevant areas of cultural-historical studies
- Experience in international teaching or research projects desirable
- Interest in non-European cultures and intercultural communication competence -
- Language skills in non-European classical and/or modern languages
- IT technology and general computer skills, experience with literature databases
- Team work skills
