Mathematics Münster at the University of Münster, Germany, is seeking to fill up to 12 positions for
to commence at the earliest possible date and no later than October 2025. Positions are available in all mathematical fields related to the work being undertaken at the Cluster of Excellence Mathematics Münster: “Dynamics – Geometry – Structure”. We are offering fixed-term full-time positions (100% FTE) for 3 years. Some of the positions are funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), for example through the Cluster of Excellence Mathematics Münster, the Collaborative Research Centre “Geometry: Deformations and Rigidity”, or a Leibniz prize, while others are funded by the starting grant “Comparison and rigidity for scalar curvature” of the European Research Council (ERC) or the University of Münster’s mathematical institutes, for example the Chair for Applied Analysis. The financial terms of the positions remain consistent regardless of the funding source.
These positions are designed to support the pursuit of further qualification for an academic career. Depending on the source of funding, you may be required to teach up to 4 hours per week during the semester.
